System Requirements

In preparation for the adoption of PMAPS Financial, we strongly recommend the following minimum hardware configurations for proposal writers and database administrators.

Proposal Writer(s):

- Entitlement level = ‘Basic User’
- 350 MHz PIII Processor or faster
- 128 MB RAM
- 1 MB Hard Disk space for temporary files
- 15” color SGVA Monitor
- Windows Operating Systems (95/98/NT/2000/XP)
- Internet Access for updates and technical support
- Microsoft Word version 7.0 or higher

Database Administrator:

- Entitlement level = ‘Supervisor and/or Administrator’
- 800 MHz PIII Processor or faster
- 256 MB RAM
- 10 MB Hard Drive space for temporary files
- 17” color SGVA Monitor
- CD-ROM Drive (24x or better)
- Windows Operating Systems (95/98/NT/2000/XP)
- Internet Access for updates and technical support
- Microsoft Word version 7.0 or higher

PMAPS Server:

PMAPS 2004 will now allow the application (pmaps.exe) to be located on a local drive if needed.  All data files will continue to reside on the Server.

- Microsodt NT/Window 2000/Windows XP/Windows Server 2003 or Novell Server.
- Approximately 100-500 MB of Hard Disk space.
- PMAPS users need all rights to shared folder on Server excluding Administrative rights.
