We’ve been working on the issue of addressing the needs of smaller proposal shops and have created a ‘single seat’ option we’re calling PMAPS Gold vs. PMAPS Platinum which is our enterprise wide solution. PMAPS Gold takes the place of PMAPS Lite and acts much more like the ‘shrink wrapped’ proposal products we’re often compared to” said John Laurino, Westport’s CEO. “This allows smaller proposal units access to PMAPS world-class database and searching technology without having to settle for a lesser alternative with a seamless growth migration path to the full enterprise-wide suite of functionality provided in PMAPS Platinum”.

Main differences between Platinum and Gold Versions of PMAPS:

PMAPS Gold is sold on a ‘concurrent’ user license basis. Customers can choose any number of concurrent user ‘seats’. This feature permits added flexibility in deploying PMAPS to a wider group of part time users without the need to purchase ‘named user’ seat licenses for every proposal team member.

Web-based training using Westport’s customized web meeting portal is substituted for the on-site training and priced separately at $246 per hour. (On-site prices are $2,000 per trainer per day plus expenses)

The Web Read Only is sold separately and requires additional licenses per enterprise deployment.
